Be In The Know – A New FDA Alert for Eyelash Conditioners/Enhancers
April 2011
Dr. Oz has taught us all to check the ingredients before buying anything and our own Dr. Karl Gruber of LUCA® champions that advice. Dr. Karl advises that you check any eyelash conditioning or enhancement product to make certain that it does not contain isopropyl cloprostenate because these prostaglandin analogs (hormones) are deemed by the FDA to be potentially dangerous for some consumers. LUCA® Lash does not contain prostaglandin analogs. LUCA® Lash uses the most advanced eyelash enhancement technology; Myristoyl Pentapeptide -17, Vitamins A, C and E and botanicals for extra conditioning. Link can be found below.

What is Myristoyl Pentepetide- 17?
LUCA® Lash is one of the few products on the market to contain the breakthrough active ingredient Myristoyl Pentapeptide - 17. Active ingredients such as Bimatoprost (used in Latisse) can cause irreversible iris (the white part of the eye) darkening as well as eyelid darkening. Other active ingredients like prostaglandins can cause irritation issues and are of limited effectiveness. Myristoyl is not only the most effect active ingredient on the market, but it has none of the side effects of either bimatoprost or prostaglandins. In just a few years, the technology behind eyelash growth has changed rapidly. The bottom line, if a product uses anything other than Myristoyl Pentapeptide -17 as an active ingredient, avoid usage and purchase a product containing Myristoyl like LUCA® Lash.
LUCA® Lash uses not only Myristoyl, but a blend of botanicals and vitamins for eyelash health and conditioning.
